The Minnie Mouse

Using everyday and recycled elements, such as an ice bucket, pans, stainless steel balls, a gong and parts of lamps, I have given life to this work which for me represents the essence of Minnie Mouse.

You’ll see that Minnie Mouse’s figure tilts slightly, showing her more conceited side.

Each element used in this sculpture has been carefully selected to capture the essence of this character. Therefore, this piece does not only represent Minnie Mouse, but also the importance of reusing and transforming everyday objects into new ones. Thanks to creative recycling, this sculpture invites us to reflect on the capacity we all have to give new life to the materials around us.
