Another piece plays with the contrast between gilded and silvered brass. At the top, a small acorn crowns a round, shiny sphere. Just below, a toothed piece acts as a visual gear, separating this gilded world from the slender, silvered foot that holds it. The base combines the two metals, closing the dialogue between gold and silver that runs throughout the piece. Once again, lamp parts lose their original function and find a new one, together.
