Purpouse

A sculpture made from reclaimed metal pieces—brass, copper and chrome—that interact to create this mobile artwork. The base rises in a curved structure that culminates in a hammered copper sphere and a gleaming arm pointing to the sky. It is a piece about transformation: the old and forgotten which, with vision and intention, is given purpose once more. A small metaphor for what we also are: matter that reinvents itself, always seeking a direction.
