This sculpture explores the power of reduction and essential form. Composed of metallic domestic objects—domes, rings and a central stem—it abstracts Mickey Mouse to his most iconic silhouette with a minimalist twist. The head is suggested by a circular disc with a protruding shape serving as a nose, while hollow brass rings form the unmistakable mouse ears. The slender, vertical support connects the head to a gently curved metal base, lending balance, lightness and vertical rhythm to the whole. A subtle and sophisticated piece, ideal for collectors drawn to contemporary abstraction and pop deconstruction.
