Tower 128

This piece is part of the Torres collection and is born from lampshades that no longer illuminated anything, now repurposed into a small brass tower. The fluted body rises like a classical column, culminating in a carved capital and a final finial that gives it that crowning touch. The base, with its radial grooves, anchors it like a pedestal.

I like how the different textures interact: the smoothness of the wood, the ornamental detail in the middle, and the sheen of the polished brass. Ultimately, it’s about giving new vertical life to pieces that were once just there to hold a light bulb.
