María Agustina Sarmiento
In the painting, she is located to the left of the infanta and is offering her fresh water from a small clay vase. The “girl” is attentive and helpful, careful to do her job well.
Despite this, I imagine her with a very playful nature, I can see her singing up and down all day while fulfilling her duties. After all, she’s also a girl. In my representation, the vase is movable so that I can bring the water closer to the Infanta, as in the painting.
