The Lost
Sculpture created from the combination of recycled everyday items such as butane cylinders, golf clubs, frying pans and lamps. It represents an unknown animal, the result of a mutant and uncontrolled evolution that has led to the blurring of the distinctive features of the species. I wonder if it’s a horse, a cow or maybe a giraffe.
Through this work, I seek to convey the message that life follows its course despite the difficulties that we human beings have created. It is a reminder of our responsibility towards the environment and the consequences of our actions. The Lost invites us to reflect on the influence we exert on nature and how our decisions can affect the creatures that inhabit it.
